Mahalaya Amavasya Vrindavan Combo Special Pitru Dosh Shanti Puja and 11,000 Pitru Adipati Vishnu Dwadakshari Mantra Jaap for Peace of Ancestor's souls and Abundance in Family

In Sanatan Dharma, Pitru Paksha holds special significance. This period is considered the most auspicious for the peace of ancestors' souls. Each day that falls during the Pitru Paksha has its own unique significance, and one of them is the Amavasya Tithi. It is also known as Mahalaya Amavasya or Sarva Pitru Amavasya. This final day of Pitru Paksha is considered the most important because on this day, you can perform Shradh for those ancestors whose tithi of death is unknown to you, or if you were unable to perform Shradh for your ancestors during Pitru Paksha. According to scriptures, during Pitru Paksha, our ancestors come from the realm of the Pitru Loka to Earth, and are pleased with the offerings of Shradh, Tarpan, and Pind Daan performed by their descendants, showering their blessings in return. The time of Pitru Paksha is also regarded as auspicious for the removal of Pitru Dosh. According to Hindu religious texts, Pitru Dosh occurs due to the unfulfilled desires and negative deeds of our ancestors. This dosh may lead to financial troubles, tension and conflict in relationships, and health related problems. It is believed that performing Pitru Dosh Shanti Puja helps in freeing oneself from Pitru Dosh and brings peace to the souls of ancestors. If this puja is performed at Vishram Ghat, located on the banks of the Yamuna River in Vrindavan, it can be extremely fruitful, as Yamuna Devi is the sister of Lord Yama, the god of death and the protector of ancestors. Yamraj granted a boon to Yamuna Devi that whoever takes a holy dip at Vishram Ghat would be freed from his wrath and would reside in Vaikuntha (the abode of Lord Vishnu) after death. Hence, it is believed that by the grace of Yamuna Devi, one can be freed from the punishment of Yamraj.

According to Garuda Purana, worshipping Lord Vishnu during Pitru Paksha also helps in relieving Pitru Dosh. Lord Vishnu is the only deity who sustains creation and grants liberation (moksha) to humans after death. It is believed that chanting the Sri Dwadasakshari Mantra dedicated to Lord Vishnu on the Last Day of Pitru Paksha, Mahalaya Amavasya, brings peace to the souls of the ancestors and bestows prosperity upon the family. The Dirgh Vishnu Temple, located in Mathura, is considered one of the most sacred temples for the worship of Lord Vishnu. The Dirgh Vishnu Temple is also mentioned in the Varaha Purana, Narada Purana, and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. According to the Varaha Purana, Lord Vishnu says that there is no place in the earth, sky, or netherworld as dear to Him as Mathura. Mathura is His beloved place. Therefore, on the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya Amavasya, Pitru Dosh Shanti Puja and 11,000 Pitru Adipati Vishnu Dwadasakshari Mantra Jaap will be organised at the Vishram Ghat in Vrindavan and the Dirgh Vishnu Temple in Mathura. Participate in this combo special puja by Sri Mandir. Additionally, during Pitru Paksha, there is a tradition of performing acts of charity for ancestors. It is believed that offerings made during this time yield double the rewards. These offerings include Panch Bhog, lamp offerings (Deep Daan), and Ganga Aarti. By incorporating these additional options—such as Panch Bhog, Deep Daan, and Ganga Aarti—you can enhance the effectiveness of your puja and gain greater benefits.

Pitru Paksha Special Panch Bhog Mahadaan
During the Pitru Paksha period, the act of giving (Daan) is considered highly significant. Religious texts state that offering food to Brahmans (Brahman Bhoj) along with feeding cows, dogs, birds, and ants is considered a meritorious act, known as Panch Bali or Panch Bhog. Vishram Ghat, Dirgh Vishnu Mandir, Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

Vishram Ghat, Dirgh Vishnu Mandir, Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh
Vishram Ghat of Vrindavan has special significance in Hinduism. This ghat is located on the banks of river Yamuna and is associated with many events. It is believed that Yamraj and his sister Yamuna took bath together at this holy place, which started the tradition of Bhai Dooj. Along with this, it is believed that Lord Krishna rested on this ghat after killing Kansa, due to which this ghat was named 'Vishram Ghat'. This ghat is also considered a place of salvation and self-purification, where devotees get freedom from their sins by bathing in Yamuna. There is a religious belief that worshipping Goddess Yamuna here gives freedom from Yamdanda.

The Dirgh Vishnu Temple located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh is an ancient and sacred place dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which is believed to be associated with the Krishna period. The idol of Lord Vishnu housed here is considered unique across India. According to the pandits of the temple, Shri Hari himself takes away all the sorrows of the devotees by just seeing this divine idol. The Dirgh Vishnu Temple is also mentioned in Varaha Purana, Narada Purana and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta. According to Varaha Purana, Lord Vishnu himself says that there is no place on earth, sky or underworld that is more dear than Mathura. This temple is believed to have been established about 4500 years ago. It was built with the aim of saving the six-armed form of Lord Krishna and the Yamuna Tirtha Prayag. It is believed that the idol of Lord Vishnu situated in this temple is a symbol of the gigantic form of Shri Krishna, which he had assumed at the time of killing Kansa.

The effort put into conducting the rituals are well appreciated. I'm glad there is a portal that allows for those seeking to purify their souls and purpose to connect with these prayers. This is a good place even for those who are "NOT religious" to experience tradition and its art forms of performing humbling duties. Appreciate the care towards activities of donation. May Black Magicians and their diseases destroying this earth go extinct. May earth be saved from disasters. Peace 🙏
