Shakti Peeth Bhadrakali Temple, Kurukshetra is considered an extremely important place from spiritual and historical perspectives. It is also known by the names Savitri Peeth, Devi Peeth, Kalika Peeth, and Adi Peeth. It is one of the 51 holy Shaktipeeths, where pieces of Mata Sati’s body parts fell after her self-immolation.
