She became Kula-Rakshika - the Family and Child Protector whose presence shields homes from nazar, illness, and unseen negativity. This temple is also deeply connected to the Mahabharata period. Before the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas came here with Lord Shri Krishna and worshiped Maa Bhadrakali and wished for victory.
