Sawan Nag Panchami Dosha Nivaran – Special at Two Temples Omkareshwar Rudrabhishek & Naag Vasuki Rahu-Ketu Sarpa Shanti anushthan for protection from evil eye, and blessings of wealth, health, and career

🔱🐍Sawan Nag Panchami Special anushthan: a rare Rahu–Ketu Shanti sadhana from Takshakeshwar Tirtha and Omkareshwar🔱

Do you often see snakes in your dreams? Do you feel an unexplained fear, mental unrest, or constant obstacles in your work? According to ancient scriptures, such signs may indicate the influence of Rahu–Ketu or the presence of Kaal Sarp Dosh. This dosh (affliction) occurs when all seven planets in a birth chart are positioned between Rahu and Ketu. It is considered one of the most inauspicious planetary combinations in Vedic astrology. To seek relief from these effects, the sacred month of Sawan - especially the day of Nag Panchami - is regarded as highly significant. It is believed that on this day, worshipping Lord Shiva along with his divine serpent Vasuki, and his devotees Rahu and Ketu, can help reduce the negative effects of Kaal Sarp Dosh, including evil eye, fear, health issues, and mental instability.

As described in the Puranas, when Garuda began to destroy the serpents who were causing havoc on earth, the serpent king Vasuki sought protection from Lord Shiva. Moved by Vasuki’s plea, Lord Shiva promised to protect him in times of danger. When Vasuki once called out in a wounded state, Shiva himself appeared. A dilemma arose between Garuda’s duty and Shiva’s promise, creating a conflict that required divine intervention. Eventually, Lord Vishnu intervened, and the conflict was resolved. Vasuki then requested Lord Shiva to always bless the serpent clan. Pleased, Lord Shiva adorned Vasuki around his neck, and since then, he has been revered as the Lord of Serpents.

It is widely believed that during the sacred conjunction of Sawan and Nag Panchami, worshipping Lord Shiva along with the serpents can provide relief from Kaal Sarp Dosh, Rahu–Ketu afflictions, and serpent curses. That is why, on this rare occasion, a Rudrabhishek will be performed at the sacred Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, along with a Rahu–Ketu Sarpa Shanti ritual at the Takshakeshwar Tirtha in Prayagraj. Takshakeshwar is the very site where, after King Parikshit was bitten by Takshak Naag, rituals for peace and relief began. This anushthan is especially suitable for devotees troubled by terrifying dreams, psychological stress, family discord, or astrological doshas in their charts.

This Sawan Nag Panchami, join this divine ritual through Sri Mandir and receive balance, peace, and protection in life through the grace of Lord Shiva.

Shri Takshakeshwar Tirth Mandir, Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, Prayagraj, Khandwa
The Takshakeshwar Tirth Temple, located on the banks of the Yamuna in Prayagraj, is an extremely ancient and revered pilgrimage site, especially venerated for relief from serpent-related afflictions (Naga Dosha). This sacred place is associated with the legend of King Parikshit, who was bitten by Takshaka Naga. As an act of atonement, this temple was established at the site, where even today, symbolic representations of Sheshanaga are present. It is believed that Takshaka Naga is the king of all serpents, and his presence at this site opens the doorway to liberation from serpent afflictions, Kala Sarp Dosha, and the negative influences of Rahu and Ketu. Worshipping the Shivling here is considered especially beneficial, believed to offer protection from serpent venom to future generations. The significance of this site increases further during the month of Sawan. It is believed that during this month, snakes naturally appear in the area, adding to the mystical and divine energy that surrounds it. Takshakeshwar Tirth is not just a temple, but a spiritually potent remedy spot for those suffering from serpent-related doshas. Especially on Nag Panchami and SawanMondays, worship here is believed to bring relief from Naga Dosha and grant the blessing of lineage protection.

Among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga is the fourth and is considered a "Swayambhu" (self-manifested) linga. It is situated in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, on an island in the Narmada River called Mandhata or Shivpuri. This Jyotirlinga exists in two forms—Mamleshwar and Omkareshwar. While Mamleshwar is located on the southern bank of the Narmada, slightly away from Omkareshwar, they are still regarded as one unified Jyotirlinga. The sacred syllable "Om" is said to have first emerged from the mouth of Brahma, the creator, and no Vedic chanting begins without its utterance. It is also believed that the Narmada River itself flows in the shape of "Om" at this location. According to scriptures like the Skanda Purana, Shiva Purana, and Vayu Purana, simply having darshan of Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga absolves one of all sins.
