Janmashtami, celebrated on Bhadrapada Krishna Ashtami, marks the midnight birth of Lord Krishna - a moment of divine intervention during an age of rising adharma. One of the most cherished offerings is the Chappan Bhog (56 Bhog), rooted in the Govardhan Leela, where Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill for seven days to shield the villagers.
