Batuk Bhairav, the youthful form of Lord Bhairav, guards wealth from theft, deceit, and negative energies. According to ancient stories, once Goddess Lakshmi asked Lord Shiva why her devotees receive wealth but still struggle to retain it. Lord Shiva explained that while Lakshmi’s blessings bring wealth, if it is not protected properly, it can be lost due to wrong spending, greed, or past karmic effects. To solve this, Lord Shiva entrusted Batuk Bhairav with the responsibility of protecting wealth and said that worshipping Lord Kuber helps manage it wisely.
