This selfless act of cosmic sacrifice is why Sawan is considered the most auspicious and spiritually charged month for Shiva worship. Each Monday (Somwar) during Sawan is not just a day — it's an opportunity. According to legend, after traversing all three realms, Lord Shiva chooses this sacred place to rest at night.
