⚜️ The Divine Legend of Lord Dattatreya
Once, the three supreme gods - Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh - decided to test the devotion of Devi Anusuya, wife of Sage Atri. Disguised as sages, they arrived at her ashram and asked for alms. Without recognizing them, Anusuya promised to serve them food. However, when they requested to be fed unclothed, she used her divine chastity to transform them into infants and breastfed them as her own children. When Sage Atri returned, he was astonished to see the three gods in child form. He prayed for them to return to their original state, and pleased by his devotion, they blessed him, saying that all three would be born as his son - Lord Dattatreya, the divine embodiment of the Trinity.
