This puja becomes even more powerful when paired with a Divine Dhanvantari Havan, dedicated to Lord Dhanvantari, the celestial physician and incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to belief, when these two divine practices are performed together, they amplify the blessings of health, protection, and immunity from sudden calamities.
In Hindu tradition, Lord Dhanvantari emerged during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) carrying the nectar of immortality (Amrit). He later incarnated in the royal lineage of Kashi as the son of King Kash. Under the guidance of Sage Bharadwaj, he mastered the science of Ayurveda, categorized it into eight branches, and shared this sacred knowledge for the welfare of humanity.
