🚩 Why is Hanuman Ji called Sankat Mochan?
The 'Sankat Mochan form' of Hanuman Ji was revealed during the Lanka war when Lakshman Ji fainted due to the shakti (weapon) of Meghnad. Lord Ram became distressed and the entire Vanar Sena (army of monkeys) also seemed helpless. In such a difficult time, Hanuman Ji showed courage and immediately flew towards Dronagiri mountain to bring the Sanjeevani herb. Ravana sent the demon Kalnemi in the form of a Brahmin to stop him, who deceitfully tried to mislead him, but Hanuman Ji recognized and killed him. When he could not identify the Sanjeevani herb, he lifted the entire mountain and gave a new life to Lakshman Ji. The entire course of the war changed and Lord Ram achieved victory only through the loyalty, strength, and intelligence of Hanuman Ji. Hence, brave Bajrangi is Sankat Mochan (Remover of Troubles), who has the power to avert every calamity with courage and devotion.
