The Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, located on Mandhata Island in the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, is believed to be self-manifested. Interestingly, the island is shaped like the sacred symbol ‘ॐ’. The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga is situated near Devgiri in Maharashtra. This temple is closely associated with the unwavering devotion of a woman named Ghushma, who used to worship Lord Shiva daily by making 101 clay Shivlings. When her sister killed her son out of jealousy, Ghushma remained steadfast in her devotion. Pleased with her unwavering faith, Lord Shiva restored her son’s life and chose to reside there as 'Ghushmeshwar'. It is believed that sincere worship at these three sacred Jyotirlingas brings divine protection, spiritual strength, and good health through Lord Shiva’s blessings.
