108 Bhog Seva: As per Vaishnava tradition, preparing and offering a variety of food items to Krishna is one of the most intimate forms of seva, symbolising love in its purest form. The number 108 is sacred in Sanatana Dharma, representing completeness and cosmic harmony. Scriptures also describe that there are 108 holy names of Krishna, each symbolising a unique form of love and devotion. So offering 108 dishes is believed to delight Krishna and invite his loving glance upon the devotee.
Abhishek: The ceremonial bathing of Krishna’s murti with milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sacred water represents purification of the soul and surrender to the Lord’s divine care.
