🔹Why did Maa Lakshmi and Lord Kubera worship Swarnakarshan Bhairav?🤔
According to legend, after a 100-year-long war between the Devas (gods) and Asuras (demons), Lord Kubera’s treasure was significantly depleted, and even Goddess Lakshmi was left without wealth. Seeking help, they approached Lord Shiva, who revealed through Nandi the secret of Swarnakarshan Bhairav. In response, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kubera undertook intense penance to invoke him. Pleased with their devotion, Swarnakarshan Bhairav manifested and showered them with gold from his four hands, restoring prosperity to all the gods. It is believed that worshipping Swarnakarshan Bhairav removes all types of hardships and financial troubles. On the other hand, Shri Batuk Bhairav, the child form of Lord Bhairav, is also regarded as a bestower of wealth and prosperity. Therefore, worshipping Swarnakarshan Bhairav alongside Batuk Bhairav on Sunday is said to bless devotees with financial abundance and relief from debts.
