In the sacred city of Ujjain (Avantika Puri), one of the oldest and most revered temples is the approximately 600-year-old Karmasiddhi Khedapati Hanuman Temple, located on Agar Road. The idol of Lord Hanuman was consecrated by Swami Kripanivas Rasikacharya of the Rasik Sampradaya. It is believed that Swami Kripanivas once had a divine vision of Lord Hanuman himself. For nearly 45 generations, the descendants of Swami Kripanivas have continued performing worship, rituals, and other religious ceremonies at this temple, while also undertaking its renovation and reconstruction from time to time. The temple was most recently rebuilt under the guidance of Mahant Dr. Harihar Rasik.
