Jyeshtha is considered the hottest month in the Hindu calendar. During this time, North India experiences intense heat waves, and devotees walk barefoot in temperatures reaching as high as 44°C. Offering even a single glass of cooling sharbat to these Krishna devotees is considered a direct seva to Narayana. Lord Krishna says, “One who serves My devotees, truly serves Me.”
In Hindu tradition, seva is regarded as one of the highest forms of devotion. Seva performed on an auspicious day like Purnima never goes in vain. According to the scriptures, those who serve pilgrims and devotees of the Lord receive his direct grace. Seva performed with the spirit of “Nar Seva is Narayana Seva” (serving humanity is serving God) bestows inexhaustible spiritual merit.
🛕On 29 June 2026, the Sri Mandir Seva Team will offer cooling sharbat to pilgrims along the Parikrama route on your behalf. A video proof of the seva will be shared with you within 24–48 hours.
