Children's Day Tirupati Annadanam Seva in your Child's Name
Why Perform Anna Seva on Children’s Day?
Children’s Day celebrates the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who believed that every child deserves care, nourishment and the chance to flourish. This Seva gives that belief a beautiful expression. Your child’s name becomes part of an act that brings a meal to another child. Not as charity, but as a gesture of kindness through which one child’s special day can make another child’s day a little brighter.
Why Perform this Seva in Tirupati?
Venkateswara is lovingly known as Balaji, the Child Lord. The Skanda Purana and Venkatachala Mahatmya revere Tirupati as the abode of Kaliyuga Varada, the Lord who blesses devotees in this age. Performing Annadanam here in your child’s name is a way to seek Balaji’s loving care and blessings for your little one, while sharing His grace through the nourishment offered to another child.
Through Sri Mandir, complete Annadanam Seva will be performed at Tirupati on Children’s Day in your child’s name. A video of the Seva will reach you within 24–48 hours.

Mahaseva is a very virtuous and fruitful donation, which has been mentioned repeatedly in the Vedas and Puranas. When a person performs the highest acts like food, clothing and grains with devotion and selflessness, it is called Mahaseva. This donation not only destroys the sins of the donor, but also satisfies the ancestors, gods and sages and liberates him from the bondage of karma of many births!
