Due to the friction, Vasuki’s body was severely burned. To relieve the pain, Vasuki sought the help of Vishnu Ji and Shiv Ji. The gods advised him to visit Prayagraj, drink the waters of the Saraswati river, and rest on the banks of the Ganga. Vasuki followed this advice and found peace. Afterward, the gods asked him to stay at this place and help alleviate the suffering of humanity. Vasuki accepted, and since then, this temple has been regarded as a divine place for Kalsarp Dosha relief.
