The Hathela Shani Dev Temple is located in Hathela village, in the Devbhumi Dwarka district of Gujarat, and holds ancient and mythological importance. The temple is believed to be from the 7th–8th century and is listed as a protected monument by the Archaeology Department. This temple is considered the birthplace of Shani Dev, as it is said that Lord Shani was born here. It is also the only temple in India where all deities are present in their calm and gentle forms, and Shani Dev is worshipped in saffron (kesariya) color, representing his compassionate and benevolent aspect.The temple is significant not only from a religious perspective but also historically and culturally. It is believed that before the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas came here to offer prayers.
